I have used Mary Kay products going on 6 years now and I LOVE them. I have tried a few other products but they DO NOT COMPARE to the quality of what Mary Kay products are. I must preface this review by saying that I love Avon. I really truly do. The 3 stars I have as a rating are not a reflection on the company as a whole or it's products. The rating is simply based on the fact that when I was an Avon consultant, I barely made any money doing it. It wasn't worth the time, energy and my own money that I put into the business. If the pay structure was different, I would likely go back. I really do love their products.

As a freelance make up artist I have used several lines and find these all have great products. I have used more Mary Kay but have tried Younique and LimeLight products and found them to be good also. The only complaint I have with these companies is the compensation plans are not great for the average person to realistically succeed. Too many people needed to make a decent income.
