India was born in London, England, and comes from both British and design royalty. Her father was famed interior decorator David Hicks, and her mother is Lady Pamela Hicks, whose father was the last viceroy of India, hence India’s name.

Together we form a Tribe of women committed to making a change, both in our own lives and the lives of others. Our charity initiative - Get Together Give Together - enables hosts to donate 10% to 40% of sales to a charity of their choice, as often as they like. Together we've supported over 800 charities.
