LuLaRoe exists to provide an opportunity for people to create freedom by selling comfortable, affordable, stylish clothing, and offering its consultants the independence to set their own pace and schedule. This creates the time to spend with those closest to them.
For me, joining LuLaRoe was one of the most positive and powerful decisions of my life. I went to my first pop-up in March of 2015 and spent several weeks thinking over the business opportunity before I jumped in that May. I had been a stay at home mom for about 5 years and I was really desperate for something to call my own and to remind me of the things that I loved and was good at. I was drawn to LuLaRoe because of the way I saw women encouraging each other as they shopped and I loved the idea of clothing the looked good, fit all sizes and was so silly comfortable!
When I started I underestimated the potential to grow an amazing business. In the beginning, I was driven to pay off my initial investment quickly, which I managed to do within the first two months. There is incredible potential to grow in this business, especially since it is still relatively young - LuLaRoe just celebrated its 3rd birthday in May! Our company is bringing a very fresh perspective to the clothing industry - with bright colors, feminine, flattering designs and an in-house art department that creates our very own prints. The product is high quality, hand made and as I'm sure you know, very unique! I love the fact the LuLaRoe makes clothes that help women of all ages and sizes to feel beautiful. I believe in the inherent value of each person and I love to see people enjoying the way they look and feeling good about themselves in this clothing.
Here are some numbers to give you an idea of the income potential. At an average pop-up you can expect to sell about 25 pieces at an average of $15 profit (before taxes), with approximately $375 profit per party. If you are able to do 3 parties a week then that is approximately $1125 in income per week. If you only work 40 weeks per year, you will make $45,000 per year for part time work (about 20-25 hours a week). Many of the girls I work with sell 100 items per week and doing the same math, that takes them to $60,000 per year! If you decide that you want to build a team that increases the opportunity for earning potential. And the business model is genius, with LuLaRoe only making 5000 pieces in each print, the market is limitless.
Your start up cost to order product would be about $5500 for over 300 pieces of inventory. You would also need to budget for practical things like clothing racks, hangers, business cards and items of that nature. These numbers give a lot of people sticker shock but I can assure you that if you apply yourself, at all, you'll be able to make that money back SO quickly. As I mentioned, I've been in LuLaRoe for over a year now. To give you an idea of where this opportunity can take you, I billed over $12,000 every month this year. I am a stay at home mom with a 7 year old and a 4 year old. I am still managing my home and taking care of my family (though there has been a little more take-out lately...) while I run the business.

My name is Erin and I've been a LuLaRoe consultant since May 2015. I only attended one pop-up boutique and the seed was planted. I loved the casual, no pressure environment of shopping in a friend's home. I loved that I could put on a dress, feel fabulous and know that that same dress looks amazing on all different shapes and sizes. I loved that I was able to buy clothing that was affordable, yet unique and made in a safe, ethical environment.
This is a perfect fit for me because it allows me to work at home with my two kiddos. This job is also very meaningful to me because I believe in the value and beauty of women and it allows me to build up, encourage and speak into the lives of my customers and team members around the country. I have always loved the fact that LuLaRoe is very conscious of the people making our garments and they endeavor to bless the lives of everyone in their organization, from a sewing technician to a seasoned consultant.
I typically host 6-8 pop-up boutiques a month and host Facebook sales each Sunday night. It is my goal to maintain my sales at a high level, even as I have achieved the rank of a LuLaRoe Coach.
