Hi, I'm Angie! Nice to meet you!! My husband, Heath, and I have two sons and a daughter. I enjoy traveling(especially to places with palm trees!), reading/researching, helping my children with their dog treat business and supporting my husband at the race track. In my free time (what's that?) I can be found substitute teaching at my kiddos school, trying fit in a dinner out with friends, or cheering on my kids at their various sporting events. I am also passionate about helping women and local youth learn about being entrepreneurs. I support various school and local organizations that focus on youth empowerment.
I've always been known for my hair. On the day I was born I had more hair than most 5 year olds! As I look through old school year books with my kids they can always pick me out by the hair. I remember working at a department store in high school and a customer filled out a tell us what you think survey and I was described as the nice girl with the "Big hair", yes everyone had a laugh about that. But my hair has always been a part of who I am and now my kids are blessed with the same thick, wavy manes just like mine. So the hair legacy lives on!
I've also always had an entrepreneurial spirit. In 2007, I sold a salon and boutique to become a stay at home mom to my 3 young children. It was a blessing to stay home with my children, but I was missing something for just me. In 2010, I was introduced to a new company in the Direct Sales industry. It was a perfect fit, I could be there for everything my family needed and carve out time around their schedules to fit a little work in too. Being able to add some income to our household with the schedule flexibility that direct sales gave me was exactly what I was looking for. It truly changed my life. I was not only able to help provide for my own family but also help others do the same. I was on multiple Advisory Boards, became a public speaker, earned multiple leadership trips, incentive vacations, grew a large team of consultants, earned a healthy income and was able to purchase my dream car! I was looking for an opportunity, but you never know when something will cross your path that can make a huge difference in you and your familys' future. I've learned to always be willing to listen.
In late 2014, I heard about a new Direct Sales company that was selling hair care. I thought that it sounded interesting, but I was already with a company I loved. Over several months this company kept popping up randomly and then I met someone that told me more. I decided to take my own advice and be willing to listen. Boy, am I glad I did! I looked at the business first and loved everything I saw - but I knew I could only sell a product if I truly loved it and if it had a product philosophy I agreed with. So the research began and then I tried the products and was hooked. I loved that they were naturally based, made from organically derived ingredients, were both Vegan and Cruelty-free and the big one - MADE IN THE USA!
I actually found a company that combines two of my passions – hair and helping other people succeed through Direct Sales - and I couldn’t be more excited about what my future holds as well as how many people I can take along on the journey with me! January 2015 was a defining moment for me and I'm hoping that as you're reading this you're realizing it could mean the same thing for you.
