Pink Zebra Home is based in Sugarland, TX and is founded by Tom & Kelly Gaines. Tom & Kelly have been in the Home Fragrance/Candle industry for over 20+ years and decided to start Pink Zebra back in 2011. I love their story! But for now, let's talk about our products.
Our Soft Soy Wax melts are called Sprinkles. Each little Sprinkle has fragrance in it so our scent lasts longer than the typical wax bar. We also have a liquid version of our Sprinkles, called Soaks, that you can spray on our Just Add Soaks products, or just directly on many things because it is non-toxic. We use them on our vehicle floor boards, cloth curtains in the house (or a hotel if you are traveling and want your room to smell fresh and clean!), your own body (lots of people use as a body spray!), your pets, your carpets, and so many other places as well.
One of my favorite things about this business would be our Accent Shades. I love home decor, and our Simmering Lights, Accent Shades and Simmer Pots are the perfect compliment to any room! Once you add the Sprinkles to the dish that warms on your Simmer Pot or Simmering Light, your entire room will smell amazing!
If you are on this page, then you probably already know that Direct Sales is a great field to be in. In fact, I've made it my career. Pink Zebra has provided so much for our family since joining in 2011. Aside from money to pay bills, we have also gotten to travel to different places (and countries!)! Places we would never have thought about going until Pink Zebra. Another upside and bonus is all of the people we have met. We have some amazing friends that we are so grateful for. Each opportunity for company outings is a grate time to come together and enjoy.

Our kits are fantastic because you get enough cartons to host your own Blend Bash or make a bunch of mixes to share with your potential customers! We have a back office that offers training and resources directly from Pink Zebra. The best part of that is if you want to build a team, you can guide them to the training and resources and it is completely something you can replicate with them. Not reinventing the wheel.
We have no monthly minimums, just $200 in a 6 month period to stay active. We also have a great career plan so if you do decide to build a team, you can do so! Otherwise, you can make 25%-30% on your own personal sales! I have tons of team members making an extra $800-2000 a month just on their sales alone. I'm Dana and have been with Pink Zebra since 2011. I'm an Executive Director. I quit my corporate job in 2016 and now I work Pink Zebra as my career. I love what I do and love sharing the opportunity with others.
Having been with the company a long time, my team has grown exponentially over the years. Because of this, I developed some training and do monthly "Live" calls with anyone that wants to partake. If anyone is local, we have team meetings every other month or so, where everyone is invited to attend. We enjoy connecting, brainstorming, and cheering one another on. I also write a blog every week that tends to be about keeping the right mindset, different ways of doing business, and sometimes just personal stories about me. All of these things I do for the team in hopes of helping and offering some inspiration. I'm also available to work one-on-one with anyone that requests it. I don't hound anyone though...if someone wants it, they can come to me, but if someone just wants to do this as a hobby, I am 100% behind them doing just that.
On a more personal note, I'm married, have a son in his mid 20's, and 2 dogs. My husband and I live in Tomball. My husband is a plumber, but also works PZ alongside me when he can. He also helps me set up when I do events, and goes live with me when we do the lives for the team. The team prefers he be on the live because he is the humor of our duo. LOL My son works in Arlington, TX and has a precious girlfriend of 3 years that we adore. We love to travel now. PZ is to blame for that. :) We also bought a boat as one of the goals back in the beginning of this career and enjoy going out when we can to either the bay or the lake.
For my customers, I appreciate them so much and will go out of my way to try and help. Some of the small things I also do are to offer free bulbs for those that purchase the Simmering Lights from me, along with a few samples of the new scents when they want to smell.
I love to do parties, (online or in person for local customers), and I also do some events, like the Bluebonnet Festival and the Scarecrow Festival in Chappell Hill each year. Reach out to me or come find me at an event sometime! I'd love to meet you!
