In July 2012, I started my own journey with Thirty-One. I really just wanted to use the extra income to be able to pay for one bill per month -- my student loans. I wanted something that was more flexible, something that would still allow me to go to all of the MSU basketball and football games (Go Green!), and I didn't want to be tied down to working a set schedule. And did I mention that this all happened while I was going to school to finish my Masters? What started as a hobby or money to pay one bill per month turned into quite the opportunity for me!
Instead of just paying my student loans, now I'm paying for my car payment, paying off credit cards, and paying for family vacations. This past Christmas, for the fifth year in a row, I was able to pay for everything using just my Thirty-One commission checks--meaning I didn't add any new debt again this year! Thirty-One has allowed me to not only go on multiple vacations each year (some of them I've even earned through Thirty-One!), but it has allowed me a level of comfort and security that I didn't have before.
Now I no longer worry about whether or not I'll be able to splurge on the fun things, like taking advantage of the timeshare I was able to purchase in Hawaii. But most importantly, Thirty-One has given me an opportunity to share this business, the Core Values, and the sisterhood with other women! I have been able to help other women reach their goals and fulfill their dreams, all while selling super cute bags, totes, wallets, and other trendy items!
