Helloooo! My name is Penny Fitzgerald. I. Love. Wine.
In 2004, my husband and I had airline miles we needed to use before they expired, and decided to go to “wine country.” We knew we liked wine, could pronounce “Merlot,” and thought it sounded romantic. That “free” trip ended in 7 wine clubs, 16 cases of wine shipped home, and a passion that ignited many friendships and a truly rewarding career! Shortly after, I found Traveling Vineyard and thought "What's the worst that can happen?" Well...that was 13 years ago.
Since then, I've learned a ton about wine (we do lots of research!), have shared countless wine tastings with new friends, met many fabulous people that I now consider friends, and offered this amazing opportunity to hundreds of others. This Wine Guide Life has allowed my hubby and me to travel to fabulous locations (for free) with super fun people, and afford the lifestyle that we choose. The freedom and flexibility to build my business on my terms (as it works with our family) is priceless.
